PIPE FITTINGS

Pipe fittings are mainly used in pneumatic vacuum conveying systems. These are used for distributing the bulk material or the conveying air required.

We recommend using pipe fittings made of hardened stainless steel or glass for conveying and distributing abrasive bulk materials. This can prevent time-consuming searches for leaks and production downtime.

In central material feeding systems, vacuum blowers generate the necessary conveying air. Sieves in conveyor separators separate the granules from the conveying air. Dust is also separated upstream of the vacuum fan to protect the fan. These dust particles can be abrasive and cause wear – also in vacuum lines. For this reason, we do not manufacture pipe fittings from aluminium. We use stainless steel at a minimum.
