COUPLING TABLE Individual

Coupling tables (distribution stations, diverter tables) are used in pneumatic vacuum conveyor systems for the distribution of plastic granules. The pipelines are housed in a frame. The number of inputs and the number of outputs per inlet (hose coupling points) is determined according to the design of the pneumatic vacuum conveying system.

Our product range in terms of coupling tables spans from simple standardised solutions to more complex and large distribution stations with operating platforms and coding systems. For applications with abrasive plastic granules (e.g. glass fibre reinforced), we recommend installing a pipe system made of hardened stainless steel or glass.

Coupling table “modular system"”

We have combined our experience of more than 20 years and have standardised the system. This enabled the cost-effective series production of complete coupling tables in a modular system. This standard solution, which is available at short notice, is cost-effective and well thought-out, covers the majority of all customer applications.

The system is delivered as an assembly kit for self-assembly. The individual parts are packaged in a space-saving manner in order to save transport costs. If you prefer, however, we would also be happy to handle the assembly task and deliver the coupling table including the couplings packaged on a wooden pallet.

A fully-fledged coupling table has up to 12 inlets and up to 72 outlets at the top with connection options for hoses. The branch modules can also be supplied in a reinforced version. If you process abrasive plastic granules with a high glass fibre content, we highly recommend this option! The outlets can optionally be equipped with camlock couplings or with more user-friendly Twist couplings. The TWIST couplings can be equipped with RFID technology.

For the highest quality requirements

Basic

Multi

Our frame offerings comprise the “Basic” and “Multi” variants. The “Multi” frame allows for the branch modules to be installed in two layers. This doubles the number of inlets at the coupling table.

Distributor spacing 150 and 100 mm

The distributor spacing is 150 mm when using camlock or Storz couplings. When using our TWIST couplings (up to Ø 50 mm), the distributor spacing can be reduced to 100 mm. This minimises the space required for the coupling table and increases operating convenience – to name just two advantages of using TWIST couplings.

Custom solutions

Thousands of our coupling tables are in use worldwide, but our standardised solution may not always be feasible for all applications due to local conditions or for reasons of complexity.

We have realised several coupling tables with dimensions of approx. 3 x 3 x 3 m (L x W x H) for the automatic distribution of plastic granules. Other applications required operating platforms or even work platforms. Some customers request that their coupling table be clad with metal sheets or a channel to catch falling granules. Complex pipeline routings and the combination of different materials (stainless steel, hardened stainless steel, glass) within a coupling table were also frequently requested.

Slide valves were installed at the pipe entrances to enable the controlled opening or locking of the material lines or the material flow. We have been manufacturing coded coupling tables since 2008. With our TWIST couplings, which we launched on the market in 2019, coded coupling tables are also an optional standard for special applications.

We are looking forward to your unique application!

Inlet bends

The bottom inlet bend of the coupling table is particularly subject to high wear. When conveying or distributing abrasive granules, we always recommend the use of a wear-resistant inlet bend made of hardened stainless steel or glass.

Inlet distributors

For coupling tables with more than six outlets (hose connection points), the operator can no longer reach all of those points. The inlet distributor allows us to connect two branch modules with six outlets to a branch module with 12 outlets in extreme cases.

Colour coding

The coloured marking of the hose connection points is available for the system diameters 40, 50 and 60 mm. This should prevent incorrect coupling processes and facilitate orientation when operating the coupling table.
