DISCHARGE

The discharge of free-flowing bulk materials is no problem when the mass flow is correctly dimensioned. This includes most of the plastic granules, for which we offer suction boxes with a different number of suction points and suitable for the industry-standard material line diameters of 38–76.1 mm for suction from silos.

When bulk materials with limited or poor flowability are stored, discharge units are required. We recommend sending bulk material samples with your very first enquiry in order for us to assess the flowability of the material. In a second step, it may be necessary to ascertain the bulk solid characteristics in the lab. Sound knowledge of the bulk solid characteristics enables us to offer you the appropriate discharge unit. However, it must also be taken into account during the design of the silo that the flowability may depend on the resting time (time-hardening), the temperature and the humidity in the silo.

Rotary bin discharger

The rotary bin discharger was designed for the discharge of PET flakes. The stirring movement pushes the PET flakes over the discharge opening where they are removed. The drive motor is equipped with a frequency converter on which the speed of the rotary bin discharger can be changed, if necessary.

Bin activator

Bin activators are used when bulk materials with limited or poor flowability are discharged reliably from silos. One or two unbalance motors cause horizontal vibrations in the bin activator, which are transmitted to the bulk material column. This causes mass flow in the bulk material column. A ring-shaped gap is created around the deflector in the bin activator, which allows the bulk material to sink evenly towards the outlet.

Loader

Selecting the right loader also depends on how often you load a silo vehicle.

Our telescopic loading pipe was designed for the loading of plastic granules. It is operated manually. The telescopic loading bellows can also be used for powdery bulk materials. An aspiration connection is also provided. It is conveniently operated via an electrically motorised control bottle.
