Fittingen worden vooral in vacuümtransportsystemen gebruikt. Deze dienen voor het verdelen van het stortgoed of de benodigde transportlucht.
Voor het transporteren en verdelen van schurend stortgoed raden we aan fittingen uit gehard roestvrij staal of glas te gebruiken. Zo kunnen een lastige zoektocht naar lekkages en een productiestop worden vermeden.
In centrale materiaaltransportsystemen wordt de benodigde transportlucht gegenereerd door een vacuümventilator. Het granulaat wordt van de transportlucht gescheiden door zeven in de transporttrechter. Ook worden stofdeeltjes nog voor de vacuümventilator uitgefilterd, zodat deze beschermd wordt Deze stofdeeltjes kunnen schurend zijn en slijtage veroorzaken − ook in vacuümleidingen. Daarom produceren wij geen fittingen uit aluminium, maar minstens uit roestvrij staal.
